You may be eligible for traffic school if your court notice shows an amount due and you have not attended traffic school on any other case within the last 18 months. In order to sign up for traffic school, you must pay your fine plus a $57.00 administrative fee, either by mail, in person, or using this system. If you plead guilty and successfully complete traffic school, no points will be recorded against your driver’s license.
Upon payment, you will have 45 days to complete traffic school and return proof of completion to the court. If you fail to submit proof by the due date, a conviction may be reported to the DMV. In this event a point will be added to your driving record.
If you have a non-California driver’s license, you may be eligible for traffic school. For more information, you may speak with a clerk.
You are not eligible for traffic school if you are charged with a two-point violation. You are also not eligible for traffic school if you are charged with an alcohol or drug related offense. For more information, you may speak with a clerk.
